As one of Duke’s Interdisciplinary Graduate Education Collaboratives, IMPACT: Interdisciplinary Methodological Program for Advancing Climate Training is designed as an evolving ecosystem that includes an interdisciplinary graduate certificate, competitive doctoral training program and fellowships, and a vibrant intellectual community around climate and health research. Bridging Population Health Sciences, Sociology, the Nicholas School of the Environment, and Design Climate, IMPACT combines advanced methodological training, professional development, and experiential learning to prepare scholars to translate evidence into equitable, scalable solutions that improve population health and resilience.
